Assistant Driver - FT - Brainerd - CDL Class A Required

Assistant Driver – FT – CDL Class A License Required

Assists the driver with loading, delivering and merchandising beverages and kegs. Also runs routes for drivers as needed, with other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position with an attractive benefit package.
Starting rate $29/hour (negotiable with beverage delivery or related experience). 
Responsibilities
· Assist the driver in checking each load to verify the products designated for delivery on the assigned route have been loaded in the pre-determined sequence and are actually on the assigned delivery vehicle.
· Assist in the delivery of the products to the designated customers in the manner that complies with the customer’s defined expectations and/or requirements. Manual product handling will be necessary.
· Assist in checking in products at the account to ensure that products and quantities being delivered are accurate.
· Assist with inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or performing specific services related to or for the benefit of customers.
· Maintain a clean driving record (with company standards).
· Run a delivery route in the absence of a driver.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· A current and clean (within company standards) Class A driver’s license.
· A current medical examiners certificate or the ability to obtain a medical examiners certificate before being hired.
· Ability to pass a pre-employment strength test, background check and drug screen (including THC/CBD/cannabis).
· Possess or have the ability to possess a Forklift Safety Certification.
·Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English as to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, supervisors and customers.
· Ability to do basic math computations and accurately process transactions.
· Ability to learn and utilize technology used in the delivery process.
·Ability to work independently or as a team in a productive manner.
·Ability to get to work on time and complete required work before leaving.
·Ability to be courteous and respectful when interacting with customers, other drivers, sales reps and co-workers.
·Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
·Ability to follow policies and procedures.

· This is a physically demanding position. Will bend, twist and frequently lift 20 – 40 lbs. and move kegs, weighing up to 165 pounds, up and down stairs and over curbs utilizing a two-wheeled cart.

JOB SUMMARY

Load, deliver and merchandise beverages and kegs using a company semi truck and trailer. Manual product handling required. Other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position with an attractive benefit package.

Requirements

  • A valid current and clean (within company standards) Class B or higher CDL driver’s license.
  • Must agree to a company-provided CDL Class A training and be willing to drive a delivery tractor/trailer upon licensure. The expectation is to obtain a Class A license with 3 months of hire. There is a wage increase upon obtaining a Class A license.
  • A current medical examiner’s certificate or the ability to obtain a medical examiner’s certificate before being hired.
  • Ability to obtain a forklift safety certificate.
  • Maintain a clean driving record (within company standards).
  • Ability to drive company trucks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English as to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and customers.
  • Must pass pre-employment strength test, background check and drug screening (including cannabis/THC).

Qualifications

  • This is a physically demanding position. Ability to bend, twist and frequently lift 20 – 40 lbs. and move kegs, weighing up to 165 pounds, up and down stairs and over curbs utilizing a two-wheeled cart.

  • Check in products at the account to ensure that products and quantities being delivered are accurate.

Warehouse Loader/Picker - PT - Sauk Rapids - 3-4 evenings/week (Fridays required)
  • 3 – 4 evenings/week – must be the same nights each week, Monday – Friday, Friday’s required
  • Monday – Thursday – start 4 PM to 5:30 PM – Until picking is completed (generally before midnight)
  • Fridays (Required) 12 pm – until done (anticipated to be done before 7 pm) – hours will vary.
  • Up to 30 hours per week
  • $19.50/ hour plus incentive pay potential

JOB SUMMARY
The Picker will use an app that will guide you to the products that must be picked for each order and loaded on a pallet. The app will also indicate the location the pallets must be delivered to in the warehouse when complete. The person selected for this position will be trained to use a forklift, walkie rider and pallet jack.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be age 18 or older.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
Ability to repetitively bend, twist and frequently lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 165 pounds (beverage kegs) with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to safely operate loading equipment within a high traffic warehouse with foot traffic and simultaneous use of equipment by other employees.
Ability to learn and utilize computerized picking software.
Must be dependable and able to get to work at the predetermined start time and work until done on scheduled days.
Must pass pre-employment strength test, background check and drug screening (THC/cannabis included).
Basic math skills, including ability to count accurately.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to perform other duties, as assigned.
