Current Openings

Delivery Assistant - Brainerd, MN

 Days:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Start time varies but approximately 7 am until the route is completed
  • Part-time if working year-round (up to 30 hours/week).  Summer only staff will work more hours.

Duties:

  • You must be able to move 165 lbs. kegs up and down stairs utilizing a two-wheeled hand cart.
  • The responsibilities include assisting the driver in loading, delivering, and merchandising beverages and kegs.
  • Class A Commercial License is not required however if you possess a current clean Class A Commercial License and current medical examiners certificate you may be eligible for hourly bonus pay.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possess a current and clean (within company standards) driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated ability to do repetitive bending, twisting and lifting of 20–40 lbs. and occasionally up to 165 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Possess or have the ability to possess a forklift safety certificate
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and customers

Must pass pre-employment strength test, background check and drug screening.

Wage Rate: Competitive

Loader/Picker

Potential Shifts/Weekly Hours:

  • Mondays through Thursdays – within the time frame of 4-5 pm until completed; averages between 10 pm and midnight.
  • You can work 3 or 4 nights per week.
  • Part-time if working year-round (up to 30 hours/week).  Summer only staff will work more hours.

Duties:

  • Accurately picking/palletizing product orders.  General warehouse cleaning and product repackaging.
  • IPod with an app directs the loader where to find the product and assists with building the pallet.
  • Forklifts and walkie riders are utilized.  Will train, if needed.
  • The nights and shifts are fairly flexible other than we need to have a commitment for the specific nights each week and starting time for each night you are available to work. 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to do repetitive bending, twisting and lifting of 20–40 lbs. and occasionally up to 165 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

Wage Rate:  $16.00 per hour – will be evaluated at the 45 day mark based on productivity – wage rate is negotiable with related experience.

Delivery Assistant

  • Tuesday through Friday
  • You can work 1 to 3 days per week.  However, you must be available for the entire day on the day(s) you are able to work.
  • Start time varies but approximately 6:30 am until the route is completed (typically by 5:00 pm)
  • Part-time if working year-round (up to 30 hours/week).  Summer only staff will work more hours.

Duties:

  • You must be able to move 165 lbs. kegs up and down stairs utilizing a two-wheeled hand cart.

Merchandising Position - Part Time

 Job Description

  • Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with C & L Distributing brands in retail stores.
  • Merchandising needs to be completed Saturday afternoons or Sunday mornings.
  • Although hours are not guaranteed, you will typically work about 4-8 hours each weekend.

Required Skills

  • Lift up to 30 lbs. repeatedly as well as stoop, squat, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use 2 wheel carts.
  • Valid Class D driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance and a good driving record that meets company standards.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Ability to work independently in a productive manner.

Must pass pre-employment physical, strength test, background check and drug screening.

Wage Rate:  $14/hour.  Plus mileage reimbursement.
